Whether you have experience as an actor, or are a pure novice, adult or child, the Western Australian Acting Studio has lessons perfect for you.
A fun and exciting approach to acting that will unlock your creativity and provide a new circle of friends at the same time.
We’ll give you practical training in acting for screen and television in a part-time program conducted through warmups, scene work, and preparation for auditions.
Our course is great fun and perfect for those who’ve always wanted to try out acting or for those who have a burning desire to return to it after a long break, as well as those who have made a career for themselves in the industry.
Run by very experienced, supportive and engaging tutors, the course will help you build confidence and feel more at ease in front of a camera, as well as speaking in front of an audience, whether in a professional or social context, and introduce you to many of the tools actors use on screen.
Improve your confidence for auditions. The Western Australian Acting Studio offers one on one sessions to help prepare for your auditions. This in depth audition workshop will help you stand out from the crowd, and make an impact on your audition.
You will learn how to analyse and interpret a scene, and develop a character. You will also learn, or polish, vital techniques that all actors use, including voice and body awareness.
We keep group sizes reasonable in order for the teacher to give you a lot of individual feedback to encourage an intimate, friendly, and fun atmosphere in which you can learn and grow.
Beginners Classes
Our beginners classes are open for students aged 12 and over, and is designed for people with little experience.

With our Beginner’s Course in Acting, we’ll give you practical training in all the basics conducted through games, activities and performances. As these classes are smaller than our competitor's classes you will have more time with the tutor, to help you develop the skills to prepare for auditions, develop confidence in public speaking, work on your character development skills and scene interpretation, and progress to the advanced class.
Our Beginners Acting Course is great fun and perfect for those who’ve always wanted to try out acting.
Advanced Adult Classes
Our advanced adult classes are open for students aged 15 and over, and is designed for people with existing acting experience.
While still having fun and excitement, our advanced class is designed to focus more on scene interpretation and character development. You will be working with other advanced students, fine tuning your acting skills.
Advanced students also have an opportunity to showcase in front of casting directors throughout the year.
