Brenton Foale
Brenton Foale has almost 40 years experience in the screen and television industry. He first started directing short films in 1980, and has appeared in television shows such as "Neighbours" and "All The Way", movies such as "The Four Minute Mile", "A Promise Carved in Flesh", and "The Legend of Ben Hall", and has directed short films such as "Help is on its Way", "The Runner", and is currently directing the feature length thriller "Iniquitous", while preparing to film the dramatic feature film "Waalitj: Spirit of an Eagle" and "Eyes of the Prowler".
Brenton Foale has written, performed, directed and produced for stage and screen since 1980. His experience in the industry spans almost forty years, including directing and casting feature films.
In 2016 Brenton moved to Perth, Western Australia, and has established the Fremantle Performing Artists and now the Western Australian Acting Studio.
In 1987 Brenton started running the Waverley Youth Drama Group, in Melbourne, and directed many stage shows through that company, including "Minor Murder", "Jitters", "The Rocky Horror Show", "Grease", and "The Crucible". He is currently directing the stage adaptation of John Hughes' "The Breakfast Club" for Fremantle Performing Artists.
Brenton directed his first short film, "Help is on its Way", in 1980 as part of the South Australian Association of Screening Education's annual "Short Film Experience", and this led Brenton into his career as a filmmaker, actor and screenwriter.
Brenton now resides in Fremantle, Western Australia.
